Emergency Shelter Open For Flooding Victims

At the request of the Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) The Red Cross will open an emergency shelter tonight at 8 p.m. at Day Springs Christian Church, 2157 N. Prospect in Springfield, to house residents impacted by flooding.

City Utilities will provide FREE courtesy rides to the bus stop located in front of Day Springs Christian Church 6 a.m.-10 p.m. while the shelter is open; riders just need to ask their bus driver to take them to the “Red Cross shelter.”
