Image Worship

Just exactly where do you think that an image is going to take you? Is it going to get you all the way to heaven? Or does it simply bring pleasure here on earth? What can an image do? Can it talk back to you? Well, now they will be able to? Can they do your bidding? Well, now they are able to do most things you command.

What begins as a harmless image will lead to a very harmful image. If you are fanatical about your favorite country or sports team, you wear the logo, which usually is some form of image. And then when you pay homage, you pay homage to an image. How many people bow and pray before images? How many people would do anything for an image?

In the above images, you have two of “Jesus”, that people think is so great. Where in Scripture does it say what Yahushua looked like? Where in Scripture does it tell you to make an image of Him, or that others did? The answer to both questions is no where. So does it say not to make an image of anything, whether on earth, in Heaven, or in the sea? The answer of this is emphatically yes. It is actually one of the 10 Commandments. These images that are forbidden to be made, are made so that we can oooh and aaaah over them, and getting others to do the same. Scripture defines worship as bow (self) down, crouch, fall down (flat), humbly beseech, do (make) obeisance, do reverence, or make to stoop. Stopping and staring, or fanatically wearing something, and doing something in the image or the name of the image of something is all part of worship. Now they are making robots who look like and behave like humans, and as such, we will see people pay fortunes just to have one for themselves, instead of giving up everything for YaHuWaH.
Paul told us about this, when he wrote, “Because that which may be known of YaHuWaH is manifest in them; for YaHuWaH hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Divine Nature; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew YaHuWaH, they glorified him not as Elohim, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible YaHuWaH into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore YaHuWaH also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of YaHuWaH into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
“For this cause YaHuWaH gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain YaHuWaH in their knowledge, YaHuWaH gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of YaHuWaH, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of YaHuWaH, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:19-32) What begins with one innocent image turns into a great sin.
And do you know where all of this will take you?

In YaHuWaH,
