That’s right. After their starting QB Sam Bradford suffered a season-ending injury last week, the franchise reportedly asked 44-year-old Favre to unretire yet again to give it one more shot with the Rams.

Favre, who hasn’t played an NFL game since 2010, reportedly told his agent, Bus Cook, to reject the Rams’ interest in him this week. He reportedly said he was flattered, but made it clear there was no way he would be returning to the NFL.
The future Hall-of-Fame quarterback will continue working as a volunteer offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for the Oak Grove Warriors high school team in Mississippi.
That means the Rams are right back to square one. Tim Tebow is still available; maybe they should give him a call.
