ST. LOUIS, Missouri – Multiple people were shot and two officers were injured Tuesday morning in St. Louis City. The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Page Avenue at Hodiamont, near Skinker Boulevard, reports FOX 2 Now.

Authorities say the officers suffered minor injuries, but not from gunshot wounds. One suspect, who was shot by officers, was taken to the hospital for treatment. A second suspect remains at-large.

Earlier reports stated one officer had been shot. The information has since been retracted.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, in his mid to late 20s with dreadlocks. He was driving a Black Nissan that was abandoned a short time later near Hamilton and Page.
