U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) is coming under fire for misleading statements he has made as to why he avoided fighting in Vietnam. Sen. Blunt is currently in his re-election campaign against Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander. He did not disclose three deferments when asked in 2015, the Kansas City Star reported. Roll Call said Blunt attempted to shrug off the story and said he never misled anyone about his military service. Responses to this on Facebook have been loud.
