Lebanon Police Respond To Hit And Run

A woman was hit in the middle of St Louis Street in Lebanon by a man, just released from jail, reportedly high, who drove off after claiming the woman was a DEA agent.

Lebanon Police responded to a scene where a woman was purposely hit by a driver in the 900 block of St Louis Street on Wednesday evening. She was walking down the middle of the road when the car, driven by a man named Mike, pulled out of his driveway and sped up to hit the woman. He was driving his ex-girlfriend’s car at the time.

Mike had been released from jail in the last few days, was visibly high, according to neighbors who witnessed the hit and run. After hitting the woman he drove around the block, came back, and began knocking on the door of aCamndenton County Sheriff’s Deputy’s apartment claiming the woman was a DEA agent. The man then left a second time.

The woman was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon with non-life threatening injuries. Police are still looking for the driver. The car along with the ex-girlfriend returned to her apartment, but Mike was nowhere to be seen.
